We are more than halfway through the school year, and our students continue to excel in their education! As we head toward the end of the school year, we want to share a friendly reminder about the importance of your student attending school every day.

According to Attendance Works, students improve their academic prospects and chances of graduating when they improve their attendance rates. At Newport-Mesa Unified School District, we strive to create an engaging and exciting environment for students and offer hands-on learning opportunities to motivate them to attend school every day.

Students are here to learn, and it is important to inspire them to take advantage of the many academic and extracurricular activities that are available to help broaden their knowledge. We encourage students to become involved in school clubs, athletics, and other extracurriculars on campus to help them discover their passions and connect with their classmates.

Many exciting things are happening on our campuses year-round – encourage your student(s) to attend school every day to ensure they don’t miss out!
