OUR PROGRAM
All CdM high school students can enroll in a language course beginning freshman year. No prerequisites required for entry into a level 1 high school language course.
CdM offers a full course of study for the following languages:
- Spanish
- French
- American Sign Language
- Mandarin

incoming placements testing dates
INCOMING students (students NEW to CdM) World Languages Placement Testing will be given on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 in Room 233. Students can come anytime from 2:00-4:00p on this date, and must begin test by 3:30p in Room 233. Students must check in at the front office. Please bring a #2 pencil. (NO TEST NECESSARY FOR LEVEL 1 courses.) Please contact Ms. Pulido at spulido@nmusd.us to let us know you will be attending, what level you are testing into or if you have any questions!

- C or better to count
- “Consecutive” language. Highest level completed in High school counts.
- 2 years required
- (3 years recommended)
- On-line courses NOT recommended, provide no verbal practice (required for upper levels, and AP test)
All languages and courses meet the UC/CSU entrance requirements.
