Newport-Mesa Unified School District (NMUSD) is proud to announce twelve schools recognized as California Honor Roll Schools by the Educational Results Partnership and the Campaign for Business and Education Excellence. The Honor Roll program is part of a national effort to identify higher-performing schools and highlight successful practices that improve outcomes for students.
The Honor Roll recognizes public elementary, middle, and high schools that demonstrate consistently high levels of student academic achievement, improvement in achievement over time, and reduction in achievement gaps. For high schools, Honor Roll recognition also includes high student college readiness.
The Newport-Mesa schools recognized include:

“We are thankful for the hard work of our students and teachers,” said Superintendent Russell Lee-Sung. “This recognition acknowledges the focus and commitment to student success that our school and parent community continually work toward,” he said.
