Dual Enrollment
Dual Enrollment
Students can take college courses and earn credits towards a degree Certificate or Associate’s) or the credits can be transferred to other colleges/universities.
Colleges sponsor structured programs in partnership with high school districts and high schools. High school dual enrollment programs can be held online or located on college or high school campuses. These courses can be taught by college instructors or credentialed high school instructors who are supervised by college faculty.
All Outside Educational Course requests must be submitted to the District prior to approving an online form from the postsecondary institution. Even if site approval is not required by the outside program, the Outside Educational Course request must be sent to the District at least 10 school days prior to the start of the class (excluding holiday recesses). 10 credits maximum for outside courses per school year.
