Daily Announcements - Tuesday, April 25th

Wednesday, April 26, the University of Wyoming will be visiting us at break and University of Utah at lunch in the SRC. Also, University of Warwick and University of York from the United Kingdom will be visiting us at 1:20.


The Admissions Game Presentation by Peter Van Buskirk is tomorrow night at 6:30 pm in the Lecture Hall.


Thursday, April 27, the UCI Student Engineering Workshop will be at lunch in the SRC.


Choosing the Right College Curriculum to find the Perfect Job” panel presentation by Brown University Alumni Club on Thursday, April 27, at 6:30 pm in the SRC.


This Thursday, the Engineering Club is hosting a guest speaker in Mr Selby's room who will talk about his career in engineering. Stop by room 319 at lunch if you want to check it out, or if you have any questions about engineering.


Those of you who applied for journalism or yearbook, please stop by Ms. Holk's room 224 to check out next year's staff for both publications. Congratulations!


CdM tennis defeated Woodbridge 16-2. Kyle Pham and Diego Fernandez Del Valle won 3 singles sets. John Dick won 2 singles sets and Matt Paulsen and John Hart won 3 doubles sets.


Girls lacrosse had a game yesterday and beat Northwood 17-2. Goals - Ellery Amdor 6, Kennedy Mulvaney and Caroline Brewster 3 each, Joslyn Simaan and Jensen Coop 2 each, and Emily Cannon 1. Goalie Saves - Katie Langley 4, Ashley Olson 1. The senior game is at home tomorrow at 3:15 against Irvine HS.


Middle School


There will be an FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) meeting in room 426 today at lunch.  Former college soccer player Malaekah is our speaker along with free pizza.


Attention 7th Graders – If you are interested in trying out for MSASB for the 2017/2018 school year,  applications are available in the ASB Office and online. Be sure to turn it in before May 12.

Daily Announcements - Monday, April 24th

The “BIG” Spring College Fair is TODAY in the main quad at lunch. Come meet and greet over 50 college representatives from top universities and colleges from all over the nation. This fair is especially important for Juniors to attend! Make sure you fill out an interest card when speaking to the college representatives. They are the ones that will decide if you will move forward in their application process!!


The Armenian Genocide began 102 years ago today.  In commemoration of this very sad chapter in history, the CDM Armenian Club students will be raising awareness and handing out free donuts today in the quad at lunch. They will remind students to never forget the first genocide of the 20th century.  Be sure to stop by for a free donut today, Monday, April 24th at lunch!


This weekend, 50 students traveled to Irvine to compete in Junior Statesmen of America's Spring State. The CdM speech and debate team has worked hard all year preparing for the conference, debating hot button issues, and practicing oratory skills. 6 students from CdM won best speaker gavels, including, Arman Roshannai, Ethan Kharrazi, Eddie Jacobs, Sam Roth, Jasper Ying, and Suzanne Arenal.


FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is having a fundraiser this Wednesday through Friday, where they will be selling Iced Mocha Coffees in both the pool lot and enclave lot at 1:20 pm, and also 3:00 pm.
