Daily Announcements - Tuesday, April 24th

Today at lunch Orange County's very own District Attorney, Tony Rackauckas will be will be speaking in Mr. Rinehart's room, #331. There will be a questions portion at the end, so make sure to check it out today at lunch!

 

ROP – Coastline Regional Occupational Program is having an informational parent coffee on Thursday, April 26th in the “new” Learning Resource Center at 9:00 am. Come hear about the amazing “college and career ready” classes that ROP has to offer our high school students during the school year and in the summer!

 

Intermediate and Advanced Theatre class auditions are this Wednesday and Thursday. Go to Mrs. Jecmen’s schoolloop page or tinyurl.com/cdmhstheatre to find out more information on how to join the Theatre program next year! Also, if you are just hearing about this and don’t feel prepared. We do not want you to be discouraged. There will be cold reads available. So, if you don’t have a monologue ready, come anyway! We will provide you with material to audition with.

 

The CdM Instrumental Music Program will be holding Auditions for Drumline and Jazz Band for the 2018-2019 School Year.  Both groups are open to both high school and middle school students, however all performers must be approved through audition before attempting to enroll in the class.

For Drumline:

Drumline Auditions will be held Tuesday May 22nd and Tuesday May 29th from 4-6 p.m..  Please plan on attending both days.  Click here to enroll in the auditions via google form.  You should also download and view our information document from School Loop by clicking here.

For Jazz Band:

Limited spots are open for Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Piano, Guitar, Bass and Drums.  There is no set audition date, please arrange an individual audition with Mr. Jamora by contacting him at vjamora@nmusd.us or by visiting him in room 627.  You will be directed to a link to music/audition material when you schedule an audition.

Join us at our next PTA meeting, Wednesday May 2nd, in the lecture hall at 9:00am. After our quick general meeting, the two Principals' reports and an update from School Resource Officer Clemente, and our guest speaker will be local estate attorney, Darlynn Morgan, speaking on the topic of "Your child is now 18. What does that mean...legally?"  This will give us all some important information.

 

Our softball team plays Woodbridge today at the Bill Barber Stadium at 5:00. Good luck girls!

 

Girls lacrosse play today at 6:00 in Irvine's Stadium.

 

Boys golf have a game today at 3:00 against Irvine at the Oak Creek Golf Course.

 

Boys tennis play at Irvine today at 3:15.

 

Boys baseball have a game at home today at 3:30.

 

Boys volleyball have a game today at Northwood at 5:15.
