Daily Announcements - Wednesday, September 20th

There is a Kings Krew game tonight, Girls Volleyball vs. Beckman at home at 4:15. Come and get your stamp card stamped. And make sure to wear your “Kings Krew, This is Our House” shirt.

 

CdM tennis defeated Peninsula 12-6. Doubles pairs Roxy MacKenzie/Bella McKinney and Kristina Evloeva/Shaeya Northrup won 3 doubles sets each. Annika Bassey and Danielle Willson won 2 singles sets each.

 

There is a Club Information meeting today at lunch in the ASB room. If you are renewing or starting a club you must attend.

Big Brothers Big Sisters, an organization that pairs mentors with children experiencing adversity, is officially on campus. The youth who are mentored within the program have a 100% high school graduation rate. Giving back through Big Brothers Big Sisters is an opportunity to change a child's life, but yours will change, too. It is a great resume builder and you will be able to get ALL 40 of the community service hours required to graduate. There will be a promotion out in the quad today at lunch and an informational meeting tomorrow at lunch in the ASB room. Make sure to check out this incredible opportunity to serve your community.

 

The “Kings of Harmony” Barbershop vocal ensemble will be holding their first rehearsal this Thursday at lunch in Mr. Ball’s room 622. All male students and staff are encouraged to attend, no experience necessary!

Greeting Parents of 7th Grade Students, Just are reminder to join us for the “Meet the Parents” dinner event Friday, October 6th from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. in the Middle School Enclave.  The best place to park is the Middle School parking lot.   

Your 7th grade students have also been  invited to the 7th Grade Fright Night – permission slips have been sent home.

At 6:30 pm in the Lecture Hall - University of Bristol, University of Southampton, University of York, University of Warwick, Durham University, Newcastle University. More affordable than US schools and graduate in three years!!! See attached flyer for more event information! Come find out where an international degree will take you!  Flyer

 

Don't forget Class Ring orders will be taken tomorrow by the Student Store during break and lunch.  Please remember to bring your deposit to place your order.  Extra ordering packets are available in the Student Store.

Class Ring orders for seniors will be taken Wednesday, September 20th by the Student Store during Break & Lunch.  Samples of all Rings and Stones will be on display at time of order. Extra ordering packets are available in the Student Store.

 

There will be an Olympiad Club meeting at lunch today in Mrs. Kroeger's room 308. Come to be a part of the Science Olympiad Team at our school.
