3D Printing & Design


This is a nine week introductory course to 3D printing & modeling as part of the CDMMS Tech Exploration Wheel. In this component of our course, students will learn how to use CAD applications and software to make physical objects from three-dimensional digital models. Students will also learn the various materials and processes involved in 3D printing. Each week students will be able to print their finished designs using a variety of materials on an Airwolf3D printer. 


Students will learn how to use APEX slicing software for 3D printing. 

Students will be printing their designs on an Airwolf Axiom Direct Drive printer. 


Students will learn how to use Tinkercad to create 3D models.
