PTA

 

You're invited to attend the first CdM Middle and High School PTA meeting, Wednesday, September 8th. The meeting will begin at 9am in the Small Gym, but refreshments, volunteer sign-up and socializing will begin at 8:30am. You'll get to meet our new teachers and counselors, get updated on the state of our school and have a Q&A with our principals. Catch up with old friends and make new ones. Don't forget, First PTA Meeting...Wed. Sept 8th 8:30am!

 

Lockers

 

 

  • Locker change requests will not be accepted at this time due to the overwhelming request for locker usage and shortage. Adjustments will made once all students have been assigned a locker.

The implementation of the computerized POS (point of sale) system at CDM will begin the first day of school.

Students and Parents can now prepay for meals either on line through mynutrikids.com or through the cafeteria with cash or check.

Free, Reduced Price and Prepaid students must use their student ID card to receive their meals instead of using tickets and ticket books.  Each POS station will have a scanner that reads the bar code on the student ID card to identify the student to the cashier.  If a student does not have or has lost their ID card they can recite their ID number or name to the cashier who will enter that information into the computer and bring up the students eligibility or prepaid account balance.

 Any prepaid balances from prior school years (while students were in elementary school) have remained in the student’s account.  If parents or students wish to check to see if they have a prepaid balance please visit mynutrikids.com or contact Nutrition Services at 714-424-5090.

This should be an easy transition for your students since we have been using this program in the elementary schools for the past 3 years.

Period 5      1:00 – 1:57

Period 6      2:03 – 3:00

 

* Students will report to a predetermined Homeroom to receive 1st semester schedules.  Students will be released by the BELL to first period.

Address Verification Information

If you move .....within 5 days, you must  go to the Department of Community Services, 2045 Meyer Place, Costa Mesa to complete Address Verification.  Address Verification operates on the school calendar from 7:30 to 11:30 daily and throughout the month of August.

Bus Passes

Bus Pass Application Packets for 2010-2011 school year are available  now.  Any Bus Pass Application received before August 1, 2010 will ensure that Bus Passes will be available at CdM before the first day of school.  The following link is provided for an application.

Textbook distribution the first week of school

  •  lunch (12:19 - 12:54) and until 3:30 Tues.-Thur.  (3p.m. on Friday)

 

  • Students MUST have your 10-11 PHOTO ASB card and class schedule- no exceptions!

Counseling Office
